Origin—Day Nine of NaPoWriMo 2021

A tussle of gases, dust, chemicals, and energies;

a reverberating shock of cosmic rage remembered through centuries.

A tussle of air, water, earth, and seeds,

a multitude of green blips spanning across fields.

A tussle of ice, water, and pressure;

Strong waves engulfing layers of treasure.

A tussle of muscles, love, sweat, and pain;

human life begins the cycle again.

Years away from their origin in the universe,

the stars still blink without a curse.

Miles away from the mud it was sown;

the dancing dandelion still braves the unknown.

Oceans away from the ice they slipped under;

the frantic waves still soar in thunder.

Lives away from the soft womb;

the human still dreams under the full moon.

The secret lies in never fearing that which lies afar;

and to carry your origin, within your heart.
