Keli: A Legacy

The antidote to a dreary September comes in the form of Keli, the annual cultural fest conducted by the KMC Malayalee Student Association.

Keli takes the meaning of its name (‘keli’ means frolic) quite literally, managing to pack dance, fashion, music and food all in just a single day. Started way back in 1995, Keli is the ideal stage to showcase all talents and art forms. It’s a culmination of months of hard work and sleepless nights, a confluence of performers and connoisseurs.

The line-up this year includes models from reputed groups like Glam&Glitz, and the KMC Fashion Team, along with dancers from world famous troupes like Blitzkrieg, Showstoppers and Phoenix, set to mesmerise the audience. Entertainers and artistes from M.A.F.I.A., Chords and Co, Saade Paanch and Comedy Club Manipal have geared up to amuse and delight even the gloomiest of spectators.

This September 28th, from 5pm onwards, Syndicate Golden Jubilee Hall will be witness to 5 hours of the ultimate all-inclusive cultural experience. This one-of-a-kind event is planned, funded and executed entirely by dedicated 3rd and 7th semester students from KMC. Their inspiration and work ethic are absolutely incredible, and Keli 2019 promises to be a night of unparalleled excitement and unbelievable displays of talent. The wonderful package that Keli presents is only augmented by the fact that all of the money they collect is donated to the most noteworthy causes and charities.
