ManipalTheTalk Network is Manipal’s largest student-run media organization with a team of over a hundred students from 8 colleges across Manipal.

We wish to represent Manipal to the world; to connect people to the things that are happening around them. We try to make sure that the right information is there when required, and at the right time. We take our time to help others out because we are doing something we love and at the same time, we have a positive impact on people’s lives. It’s a wonderful feeling when a person tells you that they feel good after reading the article you so painstakingly write; when you see them smile and get lost in a picture you waited for an hour to capture, or when they recognize you on the road and give you an unexpected smile. These small things make all your effort worth it.

We also work with one of the best teams on campus, among the best of writers and the most talented of photographers, but above all, with very friendly and kind people. MTTN provides an amazing platform for your college life, you get to make a lot of contacts in various places; you get to reach out to thousands of people all over Manipal and your words and works are taken seriously. Your communication skills are boosted as you talk to various people. You find out how people interact with your article and your next article is a lot better. You understand what pictures people love to see and want to see. And your next pictures are a smashing hit. However, MTTN is not about popularity, it’s not about visibility or SEO or any of the other online media buzz words. It’s a process, a journey, an experience like no other in Manipal. And we invite you to be a part of that experience as we open our doors yet again to new members for our family.

The recruitment will be taking place within a week, the details of which will be published soon.

Update 30/09/2016: The recruitment will be on Wednesday, the 5th of October, at the School of Communication, Manipal. Walk-in interviews are allowed, but you will save time if you fill the Form below.

Open to students from MIT, ICAS, FOA, SOC, WGSHA, and DOC.
