Indo-German Convention of Lindau Alumni Manipal

Indo-German Convention of Lindau Alumni, better known as IGCLA is a forum where doctors, scientists and students all come together to celebrate science! The IGCLA ship sailed its maiden voyage in September 2015, where alumni from the Lindau Nobel Laureate meet addressed enthusiastic students in Manipal. This year, it promises to be bigger and better with a plethora of workshops, speeches,quizzes, and case and research presentations lined up for the delegates. The workshops, with topics ranging from fundoscopy to big data analysis, are set to be a favorite among all. Dr. Ivo Steinmetz and Dr. M. G. Deo will address the gathering as the keynote speakers for the conference.The gala, scheduled to last four days, will also include unique events like “Science Breakfast” and an annual diabetes and cancer screening workshop in Malpe, Udupi.The organisers for the event have invested their blood, sweat and tears to make this a success. To acknowledge their efforts, MTTN has a few backstage stories and interviews planned.
