Here we go again.
From bustling bickerings to a hallucinating hush,
The tension, like low hanging fruits on a summer day, just waiting to be plucked off.
Right on time, almost climactically, it all goes for a toss.
Was it another mistimed social media endeavour? Or an unsuspecting victim of the volume buttons?
Who knows whether it wasn’t a poorly-set alarm, heralding that last minute dash to class or that assignment deadline.
Heads spin around, trying to eye the perpetrator,
And while each mouth breathes a sigh of relief for the welcome interruption, there is one that stays perfectly still, too flushed to say anything.
Add one more to the list of social casualties, please.
