Now you and I can enter together
This circus of ominous rides
Whose every corner have we plagued
To change those deathless imbeciles
For again the clock’s stuck at midnight
And the surface world has vanished.
Now we can haunt the ghosts of our past
With a terribly blissful vengence
Help! Help! Cries my ghost, aged twelve
Save us! shrieks your toddler
As you and I control these rides
For now, we know all the better
Each time we push the buttons, they squirm
Their countenance revealing fear
Oh what shame, what loneliness we once suffered!
But now we can have its remains severed
And thus we stand with our ghosts at our feet
They beg to be loved as they are
But nay, this purgatory we’ve created within
Would surely cure our wounded hearts.
